Don’t know where to start when it comes to helping your student at home? Complimentary Parent Workshops are hosted at the beginning of each semester to get parents and guardians acquainted with what their students are learning in their lessons. To get started, we offer a crash course over note reading, rhythms, practice routines, choosing a quality instrument, and a quick Q&A session. Afterward, we break off into instrument-specific groups where we cover proper playing position, common mistakes, the tips and tricks we use with your students, and get you applying those note-reading principles as we guide you through a short piece or two.
